another year.

Well, these are it.
The last pictures I have of my two year old.
Gotta say, 2 wasn't so bad!
Of course,  there were a few trying times, but, nothing that made me say "when is 'two' going to be over?!"
In all honesty, two was a really great, fun year!
She really came into her own- that feisty, independent, giggly, lovable, demanding, stubborn, carefree, dare-devil, compassionate personality of hers!
It's amazing to see her really learn something, to just see it click in her mind. Her vocabulary has skyrocketed, you can actually have a real conversation, and girlfriend does love to talk! :) And sing!! She loves her babies, coloring, watching Popeye (crazy, I know), putting on makeup, and definitely being Collin's shadow and echo!
She is becoming so much more affectionate, which I absolutely love.
While she's talking or singing, she'll change the tone of her voice to make it sound funny or dramatic or whatever, its kinda crazy to me that she knows how to do that!
She is way more aware of her emotions, and others.
And.. she's also starting to get a little more defiant. Not cool.
Guess that comes with the territory of growing up.
Can't she be a little baby again? Just for a while.. time is going way too fast. :(
Though, I sure do love the stage she's in as well!

(I know these are a little blurry, she was all over the place!)
 She loves her Larry!

But, not quite as much as those babies!

My favorite song she is singing right now :)

Just adore that little girl!!
Bring on 3 -we're ready! :)

Thankful.. for my arist :)

This past Tuesday night, Aubrey's school had their Thanksgiving dinner/program.
This was Aubrey's first year to participate in it, now that she's in the 3's class.
I always like going to these kind of things :)

 Happy girl!
They performed one song... and all I got out of it was "gobble gobble" haah!
 Her teachers, that she loves!
My new favorite way to do her hair, a little braid ;)

Ok.  So, I'm totally going to brag for a minute. When we got back home, Aubrey started coloring on some junk mail. She showed me what she was doing and I had to ask my mom if she just did this or if maybe it was Collin, because I was shocked that it was her! I mean, maybe its normal for her age to be able to draw like this, but I just had not seen her do anything like this before! These faces are really good- for an almost 3 year old anyway! Eyes, nose, mouth, eye brows and hair- I think? And, that she knows how to make different looking faces.. I'd say that's pretty darn impressive!! :)

Halloween- Part 2

Well, to finally wrap up October..
On Halloween, Aubrey and I went over to Lauren's house to trick-or-treat in her neighborhood with Sawyer.
The weather was perfect and the children stayed happy, so a successful night! ;)

A pretty little Butterfly and a cutie little Lamb.
 Group shot!
 And, again :)
 Heading out!
Sometimes she would be really patient and say "trick-or-treat" and wait for her candy. Other times.. she would knock, and knock again while saying "I want candy!"

She would always make sure "Baby Saucer" got her candy too, it was pretty sweet :)
Lauren was all ready, while poor Sawyer was completely covered! haha
 There we go!
She was a little worn out by the end!
Back to the house already digging in her loot!
Fun Times! :)

Also, turned 26. Had a really good birthday weekend celebrating. Loving how 26 is going already! :)

Let the fun begin!

This has been a pretty packed weekend, and still have one more day to go to wrap it up!
For now, I'll just post about taking Aubrey to the trunk-or-treat at the church right by our house, so close we walked! :)

Heading out with my sweet little Butterfly :)

Lola was there, and they sure were happy to see each other!
 sweet girls.
Lola I'm sure trying to convince Aubrey to go to the bounce house, Aubrey was not having it. Strange child.
So, they played the whale game instead :)
 Then, got their dance on!
 Befriending a little strawberry :)
Our first attempt for the girls' pic. Unfortunately, a crazy/scary looking Gingerbread man was walking around and totally freaked Aubrey. Sweet Lola was very concerned for her.
My poor baby.

But, after the Gingerbread man was gone, Aubrey voluntarily asked to take another picture with Lola! Amazing.
 Love them!
And, of course, our annual group shot.
One year, everyone will be looking and smiling, surely. ;)
After Natalie and her gang headed out, we started out on the games.
She actually hit the ball into the cup!
 What an arm! ;)
Emmy, Sarah, Jeff and Collin also came up there.
The kids with Aunt Emmy.
 my sweetie-petey :)

Unfortunately, she likes Sponge Bob- thanks to her dad. ;)

 happy girl!
