A Day for ME!! :)

As my title says, these times are few and far between! So, when I happened upon one on Wednesday I took it and ran!! (lol)
Went in to work that morning and got off at 8:30 am (yes- still got 3 hours of work in too!!), I had an appt. at 9:10, so off me and Aubrey went. Out of the appt. around 9:45ish, remembered that I needed to get my license renewed, when it dawned on me that I can take Aubrey to MDO! Hello, how did that slip my mind?! I really wouldn't have minded spending the day with her, but, I was glad I had the option of not taking her to the DPS! Dropped her off, came home and fixed myself up for my pic (haha!), went to the DPS... not a car in site! What?? Oh, its Veterans Day and they're closed. Dangit. (still have not renewed it..) So, I made a couple of returns to Babies 'R' Us and Old Navy, where I respent half the money on a really cute dress for Aubrey.. ah, couldn't resist :) Seeing as I still had 1 1/2 hours before I had to pick her up.. I went to Mardel! They were having a great book sale, where I got 5 books for $5!!! Not bad, not bad! I will let ya'll know if there are any good :) Saw some other cute things, perhaps for gifts :) Then.. I headed out to get here, but, then sat in the car (in the MDO parking lot) for a least 15 minutes on the phone! Picked her up, went home for 1 1/2 hours (which she slept a little over an hour of that!!), took her out to meet her dad, and then, my favorite part--got a massage!! YES! Thank you Sarah for my very appreciated birthday gift! :) I could get a massage every single day. And when I'm rich and famous, I will. :) THEN, (yes, there's more!) met up with Natalie (minus all children!!) for dinner at CFA then decided to hit the mall up! Went to Macy's and Forever 21.. I didn't get anything though :( Just really didn't love anything. Oh well.. saved my money that I probably shouldn't have spent anyway! Then.. came home and went to SLEEP!!

Don't get my wrong, I love spending time with Aubrey, but, sometimes you just need a little
"me" time. :)


Well, I feel like I'm gonna need another one of those days real soon after this weekend! My sister, nephew, me, and Aubrey are headed to Houston! My sis got the idea to go visit our grandparents.. which I'm totally cool with, BUT, I have never gone anywhere with Aubrey over night! And, that far of a distance (even though its only like 4 hours-ish). I can already see it in my mind all the stuff I will be bringing! Half of it I'm sure unnecessary!
I'm exhausted already!
Any tips, tricks or warnings?!? Let me know!
Pray for a, um, peaceful trip..yeah, that sounds good! :)

Ok, well, I better get to finishing my laundry and starting my packing, since we're leaving in, oh, 3 hours!! (my sister is going to kill me... ) :)
